Operational Context

Operation Tropic Thunder - Tanoa

Current Situation

Since the overthrow of the Tanoan Government by the Syndikat Regime they have been murdering civilians, threatening and attacking the small NATO presence within the Islands as well as attacking Aid convoys from IDAP.

The UK Government has historically supported and supplied Tanoa with the means to police itself and has therefore responded by sending forces into the area.

Coming under unexpectedly heavy attack from armour, artillery and air support British forces have been forced to hold their position at La Rochelle.
